Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and mozaiku LLC ("we", "us") about using Kaioke, the iPhone app, and kaioke.app. By using Kaioke, you agree to them. If you got Kaioke from the App Store, Apple's standard license agreement for apps also applies.

Your account

You need an account to add songs. Use a real email address, keep your password to yourself, and look after your account: you're responsible for what happens in it. You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.

Your songs

  • Kaioke is a tool for songs you have the right to use this way: songs you own, songs you made, or songs you're otherwise allowed to use. Only add those.
  • The songs you add, and what Kaioke makes from them (the separated parts, the lyrics, your recordings), are for you alone. Kaioke never shares them with other users, and you agree not to use Kaioke to share or distribute them.
  • You let us store and process your songs, and send them to the services that process them for us (see the Privacy Policy), only to provide Kaioke to you.
  • If you believe something in Kaioke infringes your rights, write to support@kaioke.app. We may remove content that infringes.

Recordings and videos

Your recordings are yours. Videos you make include the song's music: sharing them in public may need permission from the people who own the song, and that's up to you. Videos made in Kaioke carry a "Made in Kaioke" tag.

Credits and plans

Adding a song uses one credit; if making it fails, you get the credit back. Credits and plans are bought through Apple, and Apple's terms cover payments, renewals and refunds. You can cancel a plan in your Apple account settings.

Leaderboards and friends

Scores must come from your own singing in the app. Don't cheat, pretend to be someone else, or use offensive names or pictures: we may remove scores or accounts that do. You can block people and report them to us.

Fair use

Don't try to break, overload, copy or reverse engineer Kaioke, get into other people's accounts or data, or use Kaioke against the law.

Ending

You can stop using Kaioke whenever you like and delete your account in the app (Profile › Delete account), or ask us to. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Kaioke as it is

Kaioke is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, or that every song can be separated or every lyric found. As far as the law allows, mozaiku LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with its date, and tell you in the app about important changes. Using Kaioke after that means you accept the new terms.
